Our Development Squad program is specifically designed for children aged 6 years and older who have successfully completed all the foundational skills associated with learn-to-swim lessons. This program focuses on the progression of swimming abilities and introduces young swimmers to a more structured training environment.

In Development Squad, our coaching team emphasises 1-2 key concepts during each session, allowing swimmers to delve deeper into specific skills and techniques. This targeted approach ensures that every swimmer receives focused attention and guidance to enhance their overall swimming proficiency.

To create an optimal learning environment, swimmers are carefully allocated to lanes and groups within each individual session. Our coaching team takes into consideration each swimmer's abilities, ensuring they are placed in the most suitable lane and group that aligns with the session's specific focus. For example, if the session emphasises kicking, swimmers will be assigned to lanes and groups based on their kicking abilities. This approach ensures that swimmers are challenged appropriately and have the opportunity to learn and improve at their own pace.
