AQUATICS MANAGER

We are very excited to have Sue Mayo join us this year as our Aquatics Manager. Sue will lead the development of the TLC Learn to Swim Program, maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the Learn to Swim School and the administrative operations of the Aquatic Precinct.

Sue is a passionate and dedicated learn to swim specialist with over 25 years of rich experience in aquatic education. Armed with a Bachelor of Psychological Science Degree, she has delved deep into developmental psychology, conducting fascinating case studies that explore the profound impact of swimming on classroom performance and the activation of reflexes in special needs children. Sue’s journey is as diverse as it is impressive. Her extensive background in both business and teaching has taken her across the globe, from the shores of England to the vibrant cultures of Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. In 2001, she achieved a significant milestone by building her own purpose-built, 25-meter indoor heated pool in Hamilton, New Zealand. This state-of-the-art facility stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication to the craft of teaching and her innovative approach to aquatic education.
